Managing Partner Change at Pesce & Associates

Please join Pesce & Associates in extending best wishes to Angelo Pesce, who is announcing his retirement from the firm on April 7.

Angelo began his lengthy HR career as a Labour Relations Officer with the Federal Government. Subsequently, he accepted the position of Manager Labour Relations with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities with the Ontario Government where he led labour negotiations with the Academic and Support staff for the Colleges.  He then moved to Ryerson University in the role of Executive Director of Human Resources, and after 8 years he returned to the Ontario Government as the Chief Negotiator. He later joined  Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care as the Vice President of Human Resources and in 2003 left to found Pesce & Associates.

Angelo founded Pesce & Associates to provide practical, proven, and principled human resources counsel to organizations.  Elizabeth Hill started the firm with him as its first Consultant.  The goal was to offer comprehensive strategic consulting services that were customized to the unique needs of each client, enabling them to create successful workplaces and meet their organizational goals and objectives. Under Angelo’s leadership the firm has expanded to include multiple partners, consultants and support team.  He leaves a thriving organization that is poised for further growth.

The partners have named Elizabeth Hill as his successor and express their sincere confidence in Elizabeth’s abilities and qualifications to assume Angelo’s Managing Partner role.

Angelo’s wisdom and sense of humour have contributed so much to helping clients enhance their human resources practices.  We have all greatly benefited from his knowledge and experience, as well as his inspirational stories and life teachings.

Please join us in wishing Angelo well as he starts a new chapter in his interesting life.  We know he is eager to catch up on traveling and spending more time with his wife, children and grandchildren.  We wish them all the very best as they enjoy Angelo’s retirement together.
